- NEDUET Graduate: You’re a graduate of NED University of Engineering & Technology (NEDUET), Pakistan, and are currently enrolled in a Master’s degree program at an accredited US institution.
- Child of NEDUET Alumni: You’re the child of an NEDUET alumnus and meet one of the following:

- Pursuing a basic degree in Law, Medicine, Dentistry, or Pharmacy after completing your Bachelor’s degree.
- Additional Requirements:
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher

Are only NEDATS member and their children eligible?
NO. All qualified applicants who meet the stated eligibility criteria are welcome to apply. While membership isn’t required, active association with NEDATS is beneficial: paid members (and their children) get a higher chance of selection, as do applicants who demonstrate participation in NEDATS-sponsored events.
How is this scholarship publicized?
NEDATS will publicize the scholarships on its website, through emails to its mailing list and through its social media accounts.
Who is NOT eligible?
NEDATS Board of Directors and their children do not qualify for this scholarship. Also, students whose tuition is entirely covered by other scholarships/grants but not by loans do not qualify for this scholarship. Students who have already applied four times during bachelor’s degree and two times during master’s degree are not eligible.
How can I apply?
Submit the completed application forms Part A (through google form) and Part B (through mail), copy of transcript, tax returns, other relevant documents and the MANDATORY essay. This year topic for the essay is “Empowering My Community Through Education: A Personal Commitment”.
What is the last date for submission of Application?
The completed application along with all required documentation should be received by NEDATS and the Accounting Firm no later than December 07, 2025 by 11:59 pm.
How and when will I be notified?
The selected candidates will be notified through email latest by January 9th, 2026.
If I am selected, how I am going to receive the check?
The scholarship check will be sent to the selected applicant in January 2026. Note that while you receive the envelope, the check will be drawn out to the institution and must be cashed by them alone. You are required to promptly submit a physical copy of the check (the one you receive in the mail) to your institution to validate the award; failure to do so will void the scholarship. Furthermore, if you do not enroll for the said semester, the funds must be returned to NEDATS.
Is it mandatory to attend the NEDATS Scholarship Award & Fundraising dinner?
YES. To help you with the payment of your dues, we give scholarship check before our fundraising dinner. We expect that you will be attending our scholarship award and fundraising event. It is mandatory for all recipients living in Tri-state area to attend this event. This year event will take place on Saturday, April 25, 2026 at Marriott located in Teaneck, NJ.
How will the selection be made?
The application is divided into two parts; PART A – Personal Information and Part B – Financial Information. NEDATS shall receive Part A and review it along with the required documents and essay. Part B of the application shall be directly Emailed to the Independent Accounting firm hired for this purpose. This firm will evaluate the financial documents of each applicant and grade it based on the family income and liabilities and will notify the NEDATS of its evaluation. Part B of the application and supporting documents will not be shared with NEDATS Board of Directors and will remain in possession of the accounting firm. Amongst all the applicants, the best candidates will be selected based on educational and financial criteria adopted for the award of scholarship.
