We are delighted and proud to share that our own Anas Hashmi was the proud recipient of the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 19th NED International Alumni Convention held in October- 2025 at Virginia/DC. This accolade is a true reflection of his remarkable leadership, dedication, and lifelong service to the NEDATS and NEDIAN NA Organization.
Mr. Hashmi’s journey has been truly inspiring, from graduating in Civil Engineering from NEDUET in 1994 to earning his Master of Science degree from the University of California, Berkeley in 1995. Over the years, he has held numerous pivotal leadership roles, including:
- President, NEDATS (2022–2025)
- Chairman, NEDIAN-NA (2021–2022)
- General Secretary, NEDATS (2019–2022)
- Treasurer, NEDIAN-NA (2019–2020)
- General Secretary, NEDIAN-NA (2013–2014)
- General Secretary, NEDATS (2010–2016)
As one of the founding members of NEDATS, Mr. Hashmi’s vision and dedication were instrumental in drafting the organization’s bylaws and laying the groundwork for what NEDATS stands for today: unity, growth, and the advancement of the NED alumni network across North America.
This award is not only a recognition of his outstanding contribution but also a celebration of his persistent and meaningful impact on both the organizations that he served with commitment and grace.
